I’ve finally managed to dig out an article in an old issue; April 2007 to be precise, of Men’s Health Magazine. Quoting from the article this is what it read:

“What Are You Smoking?

As if they weren’t evil enough, cigarettes are becoming both deadlier and more addictive. When Massachusetts Department of Public Health researchers measured the nicotine in a typical pack of cigarettes, they found that the levels were up 36 percent since 1998. This is especially alarming in light of a new finding that nicotine itself, not just the toxins it’s teamed with, may speed lung-cancer growth…”

Keep this in mind, the next cigarette you smoke is probably stronger than your previous one. Is it wise to quit now?
