One of my blog readers has pushed me to write the results of the quit smoking hypnosis experiment I did on my room mate. This post should fill you in.

You can read about the experiment I did here:   Quit Smoking With Hypnosis Experiment

The results so far are actually looking good, even though it’s perhaps a bit early to say it worked, this is what has happened so far. After doing three hypnosis sessions, all three in a row one day after another, my room mate was called to go back home last saturday to visit his parents.

I know for sure that he does not smoke in front of his parents, I guess it’s something to do with respect. Anyways I have been skyping him everyday now, it’s been a week and he tells me he hasn’t touched a single cigarette and he has been exercising with all the gyming and execercise machines that his parents have.

I can confirm that he doesn’t smoke in front of his parents because I have been to his place before, the exercising part is actually new to me. I know he has a mini gym at his parents’ place but he has never used it before, that’s why I say the results are looking good so far, he’s actually trying to keep fit!

I myself am amazed.

You could say the smoking is perhaps not because of the hypnosis, I will only know for sure when he gets back here but, Im sure it is taking it’s effect.

Part of the hypnosis session suggests, that the smoker find other ways to release the endorphins, and ever since I quit and started rock climbing, I must say nothing beats a good work out in releasing them.

Endorphins is the same pleasure substance that is released into the brain by nicotine.

Everything is looking good so far, it took 3 days for the hypnosis suggestions to “Kick in” so to speak and not to sound too metaphysical here, but I do think it is the hypnosis that got him in the right place and the right time to quit. If you don’t get what I am saying, check out this article I read in the New York times that proves that this little experiment might have worked maybe a little too well.

I didn’t want to post the results until my room mate got back so I confirm the results myself, but one of my readers really wanted to know so I hope this post has served your curiosity.

I will fill you in more on the situation when I meet him again.

Have a great day!
