One way to help yourself is to reduce the amount of tar and nicotine you are drawing in with inhalation. That is where electronic cigarettes are much better than tobacco cigarettes. Some electronic cigarettes even have Zero nicotine content. But of course you do not get a nicotine hit with those.

Another good thing about e-cigs is that they do not make your home smell, because there is no tar and any nicotine actually is kept in your lungs. I must say here that electronic cigarette contain only 10% of nicotine in comparison with tobacco ones. The normal strength cartridge is lighter than Marlboro Light.

If you want to go only half a way out, not completely quit, try Gamucci Micro cigarette or very popular DSE901 cigarette.

Hi everyone

It's great to see so many people keeping an open mind when it comes to quitting bad habits and in the spirit of this, I wanted to share some info I have learned about how hypnosis and subliminal treatments actually work.

It’s actually quite simple. These methods work on your subconscious, by planting suggestions into our minds and reaching the source of our problems.

I've heard that these methods have an 80% success rate and can be done pretty easily. You can either visit a trained practitioner (expensive)or download a quit smoking hypnosis or subliminal messaging MP3 (considerably less expensive, price of your average meal out). If you find the MP3’s work for you, you will probably feel motivated to tackle some of your other problems as well. You can take a look at this website to get some info about these methods

My husband's niece aged 35 had been experiencing a black small toe off and on for a number of months. She was also getting tingling in her left hand and pains in her chest. Within two days of visiting her GP she was at the hospital.
Consultant told her she had a heart murmur and hardening of the arteries as a direct result of smoking. She was told she had to quit there and then.
She is due for tests (scans) on her heart and stomach next week (why the stomach).
SHE CONTINUES TO SMOKE. She has a 2 and a half year old son, her mother smokes 60 plus a day and has also been told that if she doesn't quit it will kill her. She won't.
As soon as I found out about this I tore up my fags, went CT and will never have another puff.

I also told my story here

Nice blog! But hypnosis? I'll believe it when I see it. I have a hard time believing that it's that easy to break the physical dependancy aspect of smoking with soothing words. However, I've never closed my mine to new ideas!

Check out my blog about kicking the habit!

I have heard that hypnosis is a good way to quit smoking. I have very little willpower I think hypnosis is what I need to try out.

I have several friends and family that swear by the "Focus & Quit" audio series created by Focus My Health. I quit smoking years ago but if I still did I would definately try this product.

A support group is crucial to quit.

It is possible to do without one, but it is such a blessing to have a team behind you.

I would also suggest the patch. It makes stopping much easier, in my opinion.

I have heard hypnosis can help people quit smoking. I started using an electronice cigarette and have not smoked a normal cigarette since. They are alot healthier for you and give you the same kind of head rush.
